The regional premiere of MacArthur “Genius” Grant recipient Samuel D. Hunter’s deeply moving “Clarkston” comes to Bridge Street Theatre in Catskill for eight performances only, April 28 – May 8. In this companion piece to BST’s critically acclaimed 2021 production of Hunter’s “Lewiston”, two young men from wildly different backgrounds discover a common connection while stocking shelves together at a small-town Costco. The play will be presented Thursdays – Sundays on BST’s “Priscilla” Mainstage, located at 44 West Bridge Street in Catskill, NY. The show runs approximately 90 minutes without intermission and is recommended for audiences ages 12 and over. Thursday – Saturday performances are at 7:30pm, with Sunday matinees at 2:00pm. Advance tickets can be purchased online at bridgest.org/clarkston-tickets/ or at the door one half hour prior to each performance. In addition, the Thursday April 28 preview and Sunday May 1 matinee will both be bargain “Pay-What-You-Will” performances, with seat prices beginning at $5.
